Welcome to Central Islip Soccer Club

The Central Islip Soccer Organization is dedicated to serving the children in the community.
Our mission is to promote interest in the sport of soccer and to provide a positive experience for boys and girls of the community through athletic recreation in a structured soccer program. To accomplish its mission, the organization provides soccer instruction for players ages 4 - 23, and organizes teams and leagues for the participation of players of all ages, genders, and levels of ability.

The organization has sections, that roles are defined as follow:
1) Academy style program that starts at 4 years old through 11 years old
2) Intra-Mural division that starts at 4 years old through 12 years old.
3) Inter-Town division that starts at 7 through 12 years old.
4) Travel division that starts at 10 through 17 years old.
5) Adult division that starts at 19 through 23 years old.

4 - 8 yr old - Game Situations (SAT .GAMES) - size 3 ball
9 - 12 yr old - game situations (refereed games) - size 4 ball.
13 - 23 yr old - game situations (refereed games) - size 5 ball.

The Academy program is an hybrid between recreational and travel. Our focus is to develop players of all levels of ability from the beginner to the advanced. We provide year-round training and offer a no-cut policy (admission is on a space available basis). This program focus on player fundamentals, technique, basic tactics and to gain a maximum amount of time with the ball. The academy will take your child's game to the next level.

The Intra-Mural program is designed as scheduled scrimmages against other teams that are registered with the club. This program is designed for players that only want to play locally.

The Inter-Town program is designed as scheduled scrimmages against other local Clubs that are registered with Suffolk Soccer Inter-league. This program provides a competitive, pure age division, for that team to play in.

The Travel Program offers a more advanced level of soccer for players aged 10 to 18. Tryouts are held for each age group in mid-May, prior to school letting out. The new teams are selected by members of the Travel Committee and team coach, who observe players performing a variety of skill-based drills as well as participating in small and full-sided scrimmages during a two day period. All other teams are selected once a year by the coach and evaluates, chosen by the coach, in conjunction with a member of the Travel Committee.

The Club's emphasis is on teaching boys and girls the meaning of good sportsmanship and how to play soccer as individuals and as members of a team. Soccer demands both dedication, commitment and discipline from the player to perform at their best levels. It also demands dedication and commitment from parents to give their children proper training and positive support.

What commitment is involved?
Teams practice twice a week during the season. League and Cup games are played on Saturday or Sunday, depending on the age group, against teams throughout Nassau and Suffolk, as well as Queens. The season lasts 8-10 weeks. Teams usually enter tournaments,
which are often held on holiday weekends. Preseason practices begin in July, and again in January. Selection to a travel team requires a commitment on the part of all players to regularly attend practices and games.

2) Training
Team practices 2 to 4 TIMES A WEEK and a minimum of 9 players is required otherwise we will cancel practice. Training is not optional, players must attend every session.
if a player can't make a session please notify us via the "AVAILABILITY" in the app with reason why a player can’t attend. We do understand that there are other important things such as health, school and family.
We want our players to improve and the only way to improve is to train, therefore we take our training seriously.

We provide goalie training all week long for all goalies. Coaches will send a min of 2 designated players as the team goalie to be trained by our professional goalie trainer.

The training sessions are 1hr30 min each and scheduled based on the coach availability. They are formatted as followed:

DAY I:
[U10 and under, increase drill area to add conditioning in the mix]
Warm up (with and without ball).
Technical work:
Ball mastery, dribbling, turns to play back or forward, passing and receiving.

DAY II:

Change of direction, aerial control, pass & movement to space,
shooting, corner kicks and controlled scrimmage.

3) The Central Islip Soccer League is designed for more older players who would want to continue playing for fun at a more competitive level. This program consist of players aging from 19 through 23

How to register?

Welcome to Central Islip Soccer Club's online registration! Please make sure you are registering for the correct program. Your child will not be registered until payment is received in full.

Our fee is a flat fee for the session regardless of when registration occurs or if weeks or minutes are not played.

What do I need to bring to Register in person?

If you are a NEW member to the club you will need to bring the following with you:

a copy of the player's birth certificate or passport
registration fees (if not paid online) & training Shirt Fee

How can I pay my registration fees?

Registration fees may be paid online: by credit card, ACH , Zelle or Cash.

No In person renewal except to receive CASH payment . All registration must be done online via the Membership Store before sending payment.

What are the different programs offered and their fees?

The CISC Intramural Program is opened to players ages 4 - 12. Beginners or player who cannot commit to away games. All games (scrimmages) are played at home in CI. All games are against other registered CI teams In this program, players meet twice a week for 1 hr. and 00 min after 5:30 PM plus 3 local soccer festivals whenever possible. Local games are the in the evening during week.

Early Bird Discount: $85.00 per season [First 30 players]

Regular Fee: $125.00 per season

Fee:$220.00 due by August 1 for Fall & Spring

The CISC Intertown Program is an extension of our Intramural Program offering a more structured soccer to our 6 to 8 year old. The goal is to give them a solid technical foundation and introduce them to small away sided games and tournaments. In this program, players meet twice a week after 5:00 PM plus away games. Away games are on Saturday and or Sunday AM or PM. The Intertown Program is by Invitation only and for players serious enough to make a commitment to being a part of a team year around.

League Registration: $100.00 per season

(if paid by March 1st, June 1st, Sept 1st, Dec 1st.)

Regular Fee: $130.00 per season

$220 for Fall & Spring due by August 1

The Inter-league program is open to all players ages 9 to 14 years old. This program requires a full year commitment from the players and their parents. It include scheduled games against other local Clubs that are registered with Suffolk Soccer Inter-league. 9-12 years old might be Coed depending on the number of players registered in that age group. Games are held on Saturday or Sunday AM and/or PM

League Registration: $130 per season

Fall & Spring: $240.00 due by June 30

The Competitive Program offers a more advanced level of soccer for players aged 10 to 18. Tryouts are held for each age group in mid-May, prior to the end of school. This program requires a full year commitment from the players and their parents. This program is for players aspiring to play a higher level of soccer. In addition to weekly games, on Saturday or Sunday AM and/or PM, all teams play in various Tournaments throughout the year. Tournament fees is additional as needed.

League Registration: $165.00 per season

Fall and Spring: $310 due June 30

3 months of training: $250/3 = $83 per month.

4 weeks per month: $83/4 = $20.83 per week per player.

Team meets twice a week , for 1 and half hour to two and a game for the weekend.

Your child meets 3 times a week for a minimum of 5 hours per week.
Excluding the time spent on the following:

Conditioning drills.

Speed & Agility drills.

Goal Keeper drills.

Shooting Drills.

Average fee per practice: $20.83/5 = $4.16

What are my expenses?

All players are required to wear proper equipment for practice and game, players will need to purchase the following prior to your 1st practice/game:

Intramural Uniforms:
Our uniform is a separate purchase and not included in the registration fee. Purchased through the app. Must have uniform at practice and games.

Interleague / Travel Uniforms:

It consists of the 4 items (2 jerseys , 1 pair of black shorts and 1 pair of black socks). You will need to bring both jerseys with you each week. Players will also need to purchase shin guards, cleats and the appropriate size soccer ball.

Inter League and all competitive teams are required to get the following:

ALL TEAMS, during the Fall will be required to pay a light fee for the rental of the Light Tower needed due to daylight savings time in the Fall.

All competitive Teams are required to participate in tournaments. The average fee per player varies depending on the number of players per team.

Winter Session might include either a Futsal League and/ or small indoor tournament. Fee depends on the cost of each tournament.

Although fundraising is not a requirement for the Intramural or Intertown group, but it is encouraged especially if you are in financial hardship.

Costs associated with each team/age group is available upon inquiry. We have found in comparison to surrounding clubs our costs to run a team are reasonable and often more competitive than our neighbors for the services provided.
